Signing, Lighting and Guarding Course
The Signing, Lighting and Guarding course trains you on how to set out signs, cones, barriers and traffic lights. This training course is conducted on a street works site in line with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA).
This NRSWA Unit 1 course (was NRSWA Unit 2) runs for one day and is suitable for street works operatives or supervisors. Delegates will learn how to operate and position traffic equipments amongst other tasks. The knowledge gained will allow you to confidently carry out highway works and protect yourself and others around you.
If you are a street works supervisor, you will be monitoring the set up and take down of a site. Upon completing this course, you will have the skills to lead a team and manage their safety.
