Telescopic Handler – Suspended Loads

REQUEST MORE INFO

The Telescopic Handler is a common sight on construction sites mainly used for lifting, moving and placing materials and equipment. However, lifting and travelling with suspended loads is not the usual purpose of telescopic handlers. Moreover, operating with suspended loads is typically more hazardous than lifting unit loads on the forks. So there is a lot to consider and skill to apply before using a telescopic handler for suspended loads on site.
This N138 NPORS certification delivers the necessary skills, knowledge, and understanding to safely use a Telescopic Handler with suspended loads.
It is specifically aimed at Plant Operators who hold an existing Telescopic Handler card, and need to add handling suspended loads. We will conduct a learner analysis to identify the duration of training required for those with limited or no experience, whereas experienced operators can attend a one day Experienced Worker Assessment (Test Only).
